Red Rocks Church
FREELANCE DESIGNER
Since August 2018, I have been doing freelance design for Red Rocks Church, with 15,000 members in their campuses in Denver, Brussels, and Austin. My project scope has been widespread, from lyric videos for conferences to fine art pieces to social media posts
“Follow Me” Current Branding

Easter 2019 Visual Branding
I had the opportunity to create analog assets for Red Rock’s 2019 Easter branding. I physically created bright palletes with spraypaint, interior paint, and wax crayon to give an exciting, youthful vibe. I also spray painted images and icons like the heart and “Easter” logo below and digitized them for production. My goal was to create expressive textures and color pallets that the team could use for production graphics. Some of the work can be seen in this sermon.

Red Conference Opener Video
For Red Rock’s College conference, I got to make the motion graphics to their conference opener production. Below left is the production file, and right is a *shakey video showing the LED screens, lighting, and performance contexts.
Red Rocks Youth: Rep Your School
For Youth’s school kickoff event, Rep Your School is a huge event where each school is put in competition to get the most attendees. These posters were promotional materials tailored for each area that Red Rocks Youth is in within the greater Denver area.

Pre Experience Motion Graphics
For their weekend experience, Red Rocks started highlighting their weekly gatherings and special events in an attention grabbing, innovative way. Through creating captivating animated designs, we capture the congregation’s attention for things happening around the church. I’ve been able to pioneer these graphics that help communicate identity and foster excitement for things happening outside Sundays at Red Rocks.
Young Adults: TRLBLZRZ
Visual branding for Red Rocks Young Adults’ “TRLBLZRZ” series, which included spray painting and handwritten type, digitally manipulated to create multiple iterations in the series posters

“People Are The Worst” Sermon Graphics
“People Are The Worst” is a series all about relationships that Red Rocks Church did in October 2018. When thinking through this, we decided to go with a yearbook look, to add a playful edge to this series. We replicated a yearbook aesthetic while adding hand-drawn elements reminiscent of Mean Girls, and even added moments of Red Rocks history and culture into graphics.
